ඉස්සෙල්ලා ම ඔහුට ඇයගෙ හීනි ඇඟිලි තුඩුවල ස්පර්ශය දැනෙන්න ගත්තා. ඒත් එක්ක ම ඇඟිලිවලින් පටං ගත්ත උණුසුමක් මුලු ඇඟ පුරා ම පැතිරෙන විදිහ ඔහුට දැණුනා. ඇගේ අත සිනිඳු වුණා වගේ ම උණුසුම් වුණා. ඒක ඔහුට ඇති කරේ ගුලිවෙලා නිදාගැනීමේ වුවමනාවක්.

මූට මේ මොකක් ද වුණේ වගේ ලුක් එකක් එක්ක ඇය ඔහු දිහාවට හැරුණා. මුකුත් නොකිය ම ඔහුත් ඇය දිහා බලාගෙන ඉඳලා තිබුණා. තත්පර දහයක් විතර ඔවුන් එකිනෙකා දිහා බලාගෙන ඉද්දි, ඔහුට ඇත්තට ම හැමදේම හොඳින් සිද්ධවෙයි කියලා දැනෙන්න පටං ගත්තා. ඒ වගේ ම හැමදේම හොඳින් සිද්ධ වේවි කියලා ඔහු විශ්වාස කරන්න පටං අරගෙන තිබුණා.

ඒත් එක්ක ම කඳවුරේ කෙළවරකින් කවුදෝ කෑගහනවා ඇහුණා.
